Education and Community
Games Explorers for Education
Games Explorers can provide a program of game based activities suitable for an educational environment.
Educational benefits of playing boardgames include development of strategic and critical thinking, and can encourage mental and social development.
Games Explorers can work with you to help you present information and stories in a new format, and apply concepts that students have learned.
Games Explorers in the Community
Games Explorers works to provide events for your community.
Over the school summer holidays this year we are at Totley Library on Wednesday afternoons, and hope to bring more events to Wadsley Church Hall.
Both communities have enjoyed having family boardgaming sessions.
Games Explorers has also provided family gaming sesssions to Fair Play Charity.
Meet the founder, Katie Bain:
“I’m a slightly geeky, mostly harmless, lover of boardgames, tea, cats and dancing (not always in that order).”
For an informal chat before you book you can call Katie on 07973140686.
“A wide range of excellent board games, hosted by friendly people who can make recommendations and guide you through your first game. We’ve signed up to their monthly games nights.”
